EAST CHIPPEWA CHURCH OF THE BRETHREN
Continuing the work of Jesus. Peacefully. Simply. Together.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Brad Kelley and his family came to East Chippewa in 2011. He currently has over 25 years of pastoral experience. He received his formal training from Grace College, Ashland Theological Seminary and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.
Pastor Brad’s passion is to minister the Word of God to others through preaching and teaching God’s Word and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He says, ‘there is a joy and beauty that comes when the Holy Spirit sheds light on the Scriptures and applies them to our daily life settings.’
Pastor Brad also has been on the Akron’s Haven of Rest Homeless Shelter’s evangelistic chapel speakers’ circuit for 20 years. While he is there at the Haven, he preaches the Gospel and is often accompanied by additional church members that provide music, testimony and other types of valuable assistance in the Chapel Services.

MEET OUR CHURCH
East Chippewa Church of the Brethren, like other ‘Church of the Brethren’ Churches has her roots in the 1708 ‘Brethren movement’ led by Alexander Mack in Schwarenau, Germany. The founders of East Chippewa CoB (est.1890) were committed to living for Jesus Christ by loving, sharing and serving others in His name. Today, that same vision fuels our local Church. Our Church’s Mission Statement continues to support the above pursuits and desire in the context of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
‘East Chip’ is made up of a multigenerational and multiethnic folks that seek to love God and people & each other by living and proclaiming His Word. East Chip’s folks have a wonderful way of making people feel accepted and at home.
Come and join us and experience the difference!
